We are flexible to extend your stay by a couple of days either side of above dates if it suits you as your accommodation is private and self-contained and separate to the section we live in. Our home is located 100 metres from Curl Curl Beach in a quiet, safe street with friendly neighbours. We are located close to two bus stops, with services to Manly, Dee Why & Chatswood, and a peak hour bus service to Sydney CBD. Around a 7-minute drive to Manly (and Manly Ferry) and Warringah Mall Shopping Complex and Hoyts Cinema.
We have two small dogs. A Spoodle called Truffle who is 10 years old, and a Pug called Lulu who is 3 years old. They are special members of our family who love company, so we are looking for a kind house-sitter who loves dogs and has the time to spend with them. Truffle is generally an inside dog who sleeps inside and has access to a dog-flap. Lulu is comfortable both inside and outside and enjoys her kennel.
We will be departing on our trip early on Tuesday morning, 21st December 2021, so we would need you to arrive anytime on Monday 20th December.
We will be returning on Friday 31st December 2021. (but we are flexible to extend your stay by a couple of days if it suits you)
The accommodation for you is a private, fully self-contained ground floor of our home as per photos.
The ground floor accommodation is fully self-contained comprising an open plan lounge/dining room that leads out to a side courtyard deck, and an ocean facing rear deck. We are connected to the NBN Internet with unlimited WiFi. The smart TV is connected to the internet – we have a Netflix subscription. There are two bedrooms (the master has a king bed), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower (no bath), and a laundry.
The house is in a lovely suburb, close to walking tracks around Curl Curl Lagoon and Curl Curl beachfront. On the beachfront is a cafe and the Harbord Diggers RSL Club is within walking distance. The block is fairly level with easy street and house access and a fully fenced back garden.
We would also appreciate you checking our letter box and watering the plants when needed.
Our home is a non-smoking environment, so it is important that our house-sitter is also a non-smoker.
