Hi My name is Jackie I am an elderly retired pensioner and I live in a 3 bedroomed house/unit (although one bedroom I use as an office) in the picturesque Adelaide Hills S.A. situated in a quiet court of 4 houses, 28 klm's from the city of Adelaide SA, close to wineries and beautiful scenery, main shopping centre is 8 klm away in Mt Barker but there is a supermarket, couple of bakeries, chemist, takeaway/Pizza, Chinese restaurant,/takeaway, hotel/pub restaurant, Post Office, hardware etc all within Balhannah itself, and walking distance, public transport to the city of Adelaide every hour or so. I have a female 6months old dog, (a Miniature Daxie Pup "Pippa" a 10 yr old rescued Ragdoll cat "Saffie", short for Saphire. and Gypsie a 3yr old Black rescued cat all three pets are indoor pets they DO NOT live or sleep outside they have a pet flap in the laundry door to let themselves in and out as they need.
Given the currant Corona virus pandemic I am adding this additional notice, My flights to the USA are booked and paid for but at this point I don't know if my travel plans will go ahead or not it is very much a wait and see fingers crossed situation but my plans will be to go as I am visiting family and friends not on a sightseeing holiday as such, given the airlines or the US or Australian governments do not cancel my trip. . I am looking for someone who does not go out to work but will be at home for most of the time as my Pup suffers a little from separation anxiety and will howl the place down when left alone in the house, I guess I have mad a rod for my own back as I have probably caused this myself as I take her everywhere with me if I can. but she might be better in another 5 months who knows, Jackie
Pets & farm animals
Pippa Daxie Pup currently 6 mnths old, hates being left alone but might be better as she gets older hopefully, extremely friendly with everyone and anyone, doesn't bark much only in play, Safe Ragdoll cat a little skittish but also very friendly, Gipsy Black common or garden Moggy a little shy at first loves to play with Pippa you won't see much of her all day but comes in around 6pm to be fed and usually stays in all night from then.
House Tasks
collect mail Mon-Fri, put ruish bins out late Mon as they collect very early hours of Tuesday morning, do dog poop patrol of back yard and through into blue bin before taking to the curb, Tidy, vacuum and mop floor as needed. if you are into gardening would love my garden tidied up as it never gets touched.
