Hi, we are looking for a kind, responsible dog lover to look after our home and two elderly dogs for two weeks while we visit our adult son in Queensland. . Zoe is a 13 year old labradoodle and is on twice daily medication for Cushings Syndrome. She is sweet and gentle and a little bit anxious. Buzz is a 15 year old small cross breed boy and is also on daily medication. Buzz is good with people but is not fond of other dogs.
They just need twice daily feeding, twice daily short gentle walks, and their medication(easily given with their food), and love and pats. Our dogs live as family members so are allowed on the couches etc.
They have free access to the house during the day through a doggie door and sleep in the laundry at night. They are a pretty mellow pair and sleep a lot of the time.
We have a few pot plants that would just need one watering while we are away.
Our house is comfortable with 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, with ducted gas heating, good wifi, dishwasher, etc. we are able to make a wing available for you with a comfortable bedroom with queen size bed.
We front onto a reserve which makes walking the dogs very easy. We are in a central suburb of Canberra and only a 500m walk from the local shops which have a Coles supermarket, chemist , newsagent & post office, our local vet, a couple of good cafes, and a lovely bar and eatery.
We can provide under cover off street parking.
