About

We are a family of 4 who need a house sitter while we take a family holiday. We live in a leafy suburb of Eltham in a 3 bedroom house. We have a dog who will need to be walked daily if possible. He stays outside when nobody is home, but inside when we are home. We also have an indoor cat. She has never been outside and is not allowed to. The cat and dog get along great. We also have 3 chickens. We expect that the chicken coop and cat litter tray get cleaned out every week. We usually let the chickens roam in the backyard when we are home. We have trained them to get back in the coop.
We are located close to public transport and about 3km from the train station.

We would love someone who loves animals and is home in the evening.

The house sitter must be a non smoker and not have other people in the house during the duration of the stay.

We have cooling, heating, wifi, tv's, DVD player, dishwasher.

Pets & farm animals

We have a dog who is around 9 years old who loves to go on a walk every day. He stays in the house when we are home and stays outside when we are out. He is extremely sweet. Our cat is around 7 years old and is an inside cat only. She is not allowed outside at all. The dog and cat get along great and sleep together at night. We have 3 chickens who we let out in backyard when we are home and let them forage. The cat litter and chook pen will need regular cleaning.

House Tasks

Mail from mailbox. We don’t have any lawn, however have some plants in backyard who might need watering depending on weather.
