We are an Aussie/American couple that have an inner city double-storey townhouse with a few indoor and outdoor plants and a friendly cat named MooMow that need looking after while we are away overseas for a few weeks visiting family.
The house has two bedrooms and the guest bedroom, which will be available to our housesitter, is cosy with its own ensuite and split system heating cooling.
We have a small back yard with a BBQ. Downstairs is living/dining area, kitchen, separate toilet and laundry,
Abbotsford is only a few kms out of the Melbourne CBD with great connections to public transport (tram and train within 3 minute walk).
We have a supermarket just a few minutes walk and a lot of restaurants to check out just down the street or a bit further afield in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
If car parking is required a visitor parking permit can be provided for use during your stay which enables parking without restriction on the surrounding streets. Parking is usually available on the street quite near to the house.

Pets & farm animals
Our cat, MooMow, is our main reason for seeking a house sitter. She is a female fluffy grey and white tabby cat who loves her food and a few pats (usually when she wants food!) and a little bit of play. She enjoys being around people and involved in whatever is going on but she is not a lap cat. She is quite independent and will happily do her own thing (sleep) most of the time.
She is healthy, has a pretty simple routine and no special needs.
She is an indoor/outdoor cat but mostly indoor, especially during colder months.
House Tasks
Look after Moomow the cat (food, water and pats!).
Water indoor pot plants and a few of the outdoor pot plants (given the time of year, the outdoor garden will not need much attention and there is no lawn). We have a couple of raised veggie boxes at the front that we would welcome anyone staying at the house to harvest as they wish during their stay.
Collect mail.
