About

We have a small hobby farm approximately 1 hour from Melbourne and Geelong and 20 minutes from Ballarat and Daylesford.

We are looking for a sitter who is confident in caring for two large dogs (one is geriatric), a cat, pet sheep, cattle, donkeys and chickens.

Our house is pretty low maintenance and offers a very comfortable living environment with passive design, heated floors, and plenty of natural light.

It is in a beautiful location with stunning views. The nearest town with a pub, cafe and PO is 5 minutes away.

Pets & farm animals

Dogs - large breed. One is a geriatric and needs medication twice a day. He takes it without fuss. The other can be scared of people and responds best if the person is confident and gentle with animals.

Chickens - need to be locked up at night and let out in the morning. Monitoring of food and water required

Nigel the sheep stays with the chickens and needs water to be monitored and a daily pat.

Donkeys and cattle require monitoring of well-being and water.

Indoor fish - daily feeding

House Tasks

Care of indoor plants. There is a garden, but it won't need maintenance unless you enjoy it.
