The home is Unit 3 on a block of 8, all ground floor units, private and quiet, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with separate toilet. Separate shower and bath in bathroom. Off street parking. Nice little courtyard with outdoor furniture to enjoy the summer days. Buses run along the road and the nearest train station is Ivanhoe Station. Woolworths supermarket is a short drive or bus ride away. Lovely bars and restaurants on the Ivanhoe main strip are a short Uber or bus ride away. I'm looking for a cat lover who likes the quiet life and is clean and responsible. Unfortunately the cats are afraid of young children and tend to hide, so in order to avoid stressing them out I'm looking for singles or couples with no young children.
Pets & farm animals
I have two young female (desexed) cats that will need companionship while I'm on holidays for 2.5 weeks in late Oct / early Nov. The cats are indoor only, please keep them inside and take care when coming in and out of the house. I do give them supervised outdoor time in the back courtyard so they can chew a bit of grass and explore, but you must keep an eye on them so they don't try to jump the fence or explore the gap between the back of the garage and the back fence. They are very shy at first but will warm to you, and they can be left on their own all day, I just want to make sure someone is there overnight to give them some attention, and to look after the litter and make sure they have water etc. They have an automatic feeder that dispenses biscuits in the morning and afternoon, and I give them wet food at night.
House Tasks
Tasks are simply to look after and feed the cats, keep the litter tidy, collect mail, and take the bins in and out.
