My comfortable small house is located on a block in the quaint village of Gundy NSW. I'm located in the upper Hunter Valley just a few km. from Scone NSW. Gundy ticks all the boxes for quiet, peaceful and tranquil. I shall be traveling to the USA and will need someone to look after my 3 yr old cat, "Bugs", for the duration. Basic domestic duties only required, nothing exceptional or extensive.. The added security of having someone here and the attention and feeding of my cat, who spends most of his time outside anyway, are the basic requirements. Just keeping the place neat and tidy and lived in will be fine. My home is small but comfortable and relatively new (6 yr old) with a nice verandah and something of a view. Gundy is a scenic little place with a general type store and a very popular restaurant/pub. Many people pass through on their way to the Barrington Tops National Park just up the road a bit. If you're looking for a little peace and quiet and respite from the madding crowd, Gundy may be what you're looking for. Of course the Hunter is also well know for thoroughbreds and wine country. All of that is easily accessible from here. I chose Gundy for that peace and quiet and, perhaps, you will too. Mind you, the big smoke isn't that far away if you should so desire it.
