My partner and I are travelling to Europe to see our elderly mothers as my mother turns ninety in September. It's a long time away for us from our two adorable dogs. We are looking for someone or a couple who are retired and therefore likely to be home a lot. I am a dog groomer based from home which means my dogs are not used to being left for long periods. We also have no children which means our dogs are our children.
We have Pepsi who is an 11 yr old Lab x Goldy and Teddy who is a 10 yr old toy poodle. They are both very well behaved, loving and obedient.
We would only ask for the minimum maintenance carried out around the property to keep things watered etc. our entire focus is on the wellbeing of our two fur babies. Everyone loves our dogs and I'm sure you would too.
Our house is located a short walk from lake Joondalup. A short walk to Edgewater train station. If you are a keen walker, you can also take a nature walk to Joondalup City. Our property backs onto a small park, so the view from our patio is tree tops and birds. We even have a gate in our back fence giving easy access to the park. We have Edgewater shops also a short walk. There's a walking/cycling path all the way round lake Joondalup or just go as far as the botanic gardens and Leapfrogs cafe which is divine.
Part of the inside of our property is recently renovated and some is yet to be done. If it's important to you to have a lovely kitchen area I'm afraid ours is 40yrs old and rather sad. Everything you need is there......dish washer, oven, cook top, large fridge freezer, microwave, barista espresso machine and the list goes on but I'm a little embassarred at the presentation. It's on the list, but we're not yet there. I will ad a photo shortly when I've at least had a chance to help it look it's best. The house is on one level and is quite large with a carpeted large sunken lounge and a seperate family area with sliding doors out to the patio and pool area. We currently have a large dining suite in this room for when we have large numbers of guests. Otherwise there's another smaller dining area next to the kitchen.
The main bedroom and ensuite is at the front of the property and three more bedrooms bathroom and large laundry are at the back of the house which is all renovated but where we spend no time at all which is slightly crazy.
Having said all that, it's a very comfortable home and we love it and love the suburb. I'll see now if I can find a few photos to ad which will help you get the picture.
BTW, the picture of the lab in the shower is our darling Harry who passed away nearly two years ago at 16.5 but it was the only picture I had of our ensuite.
We have access to Netflix, Stan, and Foxtel Go. We have gas heaters for the lounge and family area and electric oil heaters for the bedrooms.
I have a close friend who is able to do a further four weeks after the dates stated as we will still be away, so there is a possibility for a longer stay and is something we could talk about.
