Our home is a modest 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet home that was built in the 1960’s. It is centrally located in noble park north with access to Monash freeway entrances and Waverley gardens shopping centre (has Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and Henry’s Merchanto which is great for fresh fruit veggies and deli items) both a 5 minute drive away. There is also a small local pizza shop, charcoal chicken shop and bottle shop a 5 minute walk away. We also have lots of good options for Uber eats here, if you like to explore a variety of cuisine, we are happy to leave recommendations of some of our favourites.
Our home backs onto a large reserve with a dog park which is great for walks and for puppy watching. Our guest bedroom overlooks this park and has a comfortable double bed and tv. The house has ducted heating and cooling and we typically have it climate controlled to 18-22 degrees as we have a large number of indoor plants throughout the house who like us humans and felines here, seem to like a lovely spring temperature.
We also have a lovely big study so if you are a student or you work from home, you are welcome to enjoy this space. we have wifi but there have been some occasional nbn outages recently.
We have only moved in a few months ago so our living room is currently empty - we are waiting on the arrival of our sofa bed and large smart tv which should arrive shortly before the time of your stay.
Our kitchen is small but big enough for the two of us to cook so if you like to cook up a storm, this kitchen may not work for you.
You will need to be available on Thursday the 18th august to meet the boys and to show you how they are fed and how the plans are misted. You will be on your own from Friday 19th august afternoon till Friday 26th august evening when we return.
Pets & farm animals
We have two beautiful ragdoll boys (lynx ragdoll aged 1.5years and bi colour ragdoll aged 1year old) who we need looked after while we are away.
Our boys are both very friendly kitties and love pats, cuddles, play and any kind of attention. They are indoor kitties so they do not need to be let out. They are absolutely gorgeous and I am positive you will love them the moment you meet them.
We are looking for someone who is home a fair bit to keep our boys company. They both sleep in our bed with us so once they get to know you, it is possible they may choose to sleep with you so we are looking for someone who is happy to possibly share the bed with the boys.
House Tasks
During the week of stay, we require you to feed our babies wet food twice a day (morning and night), ensure they have access to dry food all day and all night (also refilled morning and night) and maintain a tidy litter tray for them (we clean it daily and change it completely every 3 days). They also need a little play daily usually in the evening to tire them out.
We also have a significant number of indoor plants which need to be misted 1-2 times a day (usually morning and night).
If you could also please collect the mail and take out the bins on bin day (Tuesday night to be collected Wednesday 6am), that would be wonderful. You do not need to worry about the lawn or anything else.
