I’m looking for a cat & house sitter in beautiful Castlemaine. I have an affectionate and easy-to-care-for indoor-only tortishell cat, Maddie, who needs looking after and will repay in kitty cuddles.

I live in a large weatherboard home, with central ducted heating + aircon, and spacious dining and comfy living room. There is a study you can use as well. I do have a housemate, Sally, who may be in and out over the house-sitting period, but she is friendly and easy to share with and will respect your space and time here.

There may be a few veggies out the back which will need watering, and some lovely shaded seating areas to enjoy the rest of the garden.

Walking distance to fresh food market, botanic gardens, parks and creek walks, and to the centre of town with its cafes, bars, art galleries and boutiques that Castlemaine is famous for.

Off street parking available. Walking distance to train station.

I am looking for a responsible house sitter, preferably with references, and who loves cats and will look after Maddie well. I'm a fairly relaxed person and happy for you to 'make yourself at home' as long as you respect the home and keep it clean and undamaged.

Pets & farm animals

I have a gorgeous 6 year old tortoiseshell cat named Maddie. She is STRICTLY an indoor cat only. She is highly affectionate once she gets to know you. She is super easy to look after but I want someone who can keep her company while I'm away. She is used to me being out and about during the day at work etc but also used to my company most evenings and does love a cuddle first thing in the morning and will find you on your bed if you want that! She would not suit a sitter with children, sorry, as she can get scared quite easily by kids being kids! <br />There is a vet in town, but hopefully you won't need them.

House Tasks

Water indoor pot plants (once a week) and water veggie garden out the back most days (unless it rains)<br />Collect Mail<br />Bins out Tuesday nights as needed<br />
