Hi,
If you love the sound of getting fresh eggs every day and being able to pick fresh seasonal vegetables from the garden, then you are the person we are looking for.

We live in a small country town in the Hunter Valley. We are looking for a house sitter to look after our beloved mini Bull Terrier (Henry 1 year old) and 12 chooks during Jan - Mar 2023.

House sitters must love dogs and understand how to handle a dog with a personality, but also loves to just lay in the sun all day. Our house is a small cottage house on about 2 acres, in the middle of the Clarence Town village. Clarence Town is located about 10-12mins from the beautiful country town of Dungog which is known for its Mountain Biking trails and lovely cafes. It is also only approx 50 mins to the beautiful beaches of Newcastle and Nelson Bay. The travel to Newcastle is a very easy drive and as we work in Newcastle, it is a trip we do often both during the week and for pleasure during the weekend.

Pets & farm animals

We have one puppy dog by the name of Henry. He is a miniature Bull Terrier and 13 chickens

House Tasks

Look after the chickens and puppy dog. We also have a large veggie garden and a yard that will require mowing a couple of times whilst we are away.
