Hi, we are a newly retired couple, looking for non-smoking sitter/s to look after pets and house with some mowing and watering while we are away. We have 2 dogs - Molley, 10 year old Kelpie X and Daisy, 8 year old Golden Retriever. Both love walks, swims, cuddles and lots of attention but they are also happy to sleep lots when tired. We have a large contained yard for exercising them. They also love being inside. Modern 4 bedroom off-grid solar passive home in quiet location, 10 min drive from Armidale. Located on 120 acres - mostly bush with 4 dams. Great for walking and mountain biking and wildlife. Home is very comfortable, clean and light with separate guest bedroom and bathroom for sitter/s. Reverse cycle air-con and well-insulated with great cross-ventilation if needed. Large kitchen and plenty of outdoor space. Vegie garden and some fruit trees, berries etc. Auto-sprinkler system for lawn. Internet, Foxtel available plus large DVD collection, games and puzzles. As rural property sometimes there is mud or dust depending on weather but house has a large utility room/entrance to cater for all eventualities. Climate in December usually great. Armidale well serviced - outdoor pool, cinema, library, art gallery and plenty of cafes and restaurants, etc. Prefer sitter/s with experience with large dogs who respect other peoples space and possessions. We also have trips scheduled for September 2022 (1 week), February 2023 (12 days), September 2023 if you are interested.
