About

Our house is located in the village of Rous Mill. 10 minutes from the main town of Alstonville, 20 minutes from Ballina and 40 minutes from Byron Bay.

It is a 3 bedroom renovated 1900s cottage with wooden floors thorough out, a clawfoot bath and open plan kitchen and living room. We have water tanks and a wood heater. It’s a cosy space on a quarter-acre block.

We are away for a few weeks and would love a couple or single to look after our place and our dog. We have a 14-year-old Staffie x, Mr Boy, who requires company and love. He spends a lot of time sleeping these days.

Pets & farm animals

One dog - Mr Boy, Staffie X 14 years old. <br />He requires daily medication and love. He is food motivated and will nap in the afternoon for hours. He doesn't like to be left for long periods of time. Can handle around 2-4 hours max.

House Tasks

Look after our dog, keep the house clean, collect mail and do light gardening i.e weeding and mow lawn (if needed).
