We live in a dreamy, rustic 2 bedroom apartment that overlooks the Merri Creek trail in Brunswick East, just a few minutes down the creek from a cute organic grocer and cafe called Ceres. Though it’s a relatively small two bedroom, it has a great vibe and is perfect for one or two people. We are very happy here.

Walks along the Merri Creek trail are just outside the door, and the bars and restaurants of Brunswick East, Fitzroy North, Northcote, Thornbury and the rest of inner north Melbourne are a short tram or bike ride away. There is a bbq on the balcony that overlooks the bush, a comfy queen bed and a study in the spare room, a record player, smart TV with streaming services, wifi etc etc.

We are looking for someone to look after our dog, Maeve, while we are away. Maeve is a 7 year old, medium cross breed dog and the most affectionate dog you will ever meet. Maeve has historically struggled with being separated from her human companions, and though we have that relatively under control now, we are looking for someone who isn't out of the house for too many hours (6-7 hours is probably the max) every day and can follow some simple steps before leaving her alone. We’re also looking for a sitter who can give our active doggo a good walk per day, which isn’t too hard with the creek and parks right outside. If you are planning to go out in the evening, she'll need a short outing or play beforehand too. Other than that, it's just about giving her some food and her a daily tablet. Overall, Maeve is easygoing and great company.
