My mum is heading down to Melbourne to be with the family over Christmas and requires someone to take care of her two Burmese babies. They are brothers and if you know Burmese, will understand they can be quite needy. She lives right on the beach/river with access to so many great swimming holes and walks. What a beautiful way to spend Christmas.

Newell Beach is a beautiful spot, north of Port Douglas, close to Mossman and other amazing sites. A short drive to Port Douglas town centre. You will need a car to get around as there is limited public transport.

The home is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom unit with access to shared pool on the property. Aircon inside unit.

The cats require feeding and attention, otherwise you are free to come and go as you please. They will sleep on the bed with you and need lots of loving (typical Burmese), so someone with cat experience is preferred

Mum hasn't booked a return ticket yet, so someone who can be flexible with days and is able to stay an extra day or two if needed would be preferable but she will likely be back around the 27th Dec.
