About

We are on an old flower farm approximately 20 min drive inland from Devonport, on 5 acres. We have organised someone else to look after the greenhouses, but need someone who can look after the cat. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 office, 1 bathroom, kitchen (with dishwasher), and lounge room. The washing machine and dryer are in the garage. We have ceiling fans in every room and reverse cycle/split system/heat pump and air conditioning.

Pets & farm animals

We need a responsible person to look after the cat, who is 19 years old and needs medication syringed into her mouth daily (as she is old and unwell, this is generally not difficult). She is also on special can food, so needs fresh food daily. As she has kidney disease, she drinks and wees a lot, so needs her kitty litter changed regularly. We need someone who can identify if she gets a UTI and is confident to take her to the vet for antibiotics. She is ok to be left for the day or overnight, if you want to explore the local area, but please make sure she has fresh food and medication daily.

House Tasks

It would be lovely if you'd bring in the mail and water any pot plants in the house. If you are confident, we have a ride on mower, but we don't mind if the grass gets long while we're away.
