Hello!

The large apartment is a secure 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with a balcony. I have many houseplants so would love someone who can care for those as well. Conveniently located across the road from an IGA, petrol station and Flemington racecourse. 4km to Melbourne CBD, and 3 stops via train to southern cross station. The Kensington area is filled with cafes and bars, and the best food! Racecourse is also very close by with the famous Laksa king and Dumpling house.

Beautiful walks to the river and wetlands, and plenty of green spaces. Up one flight of stairs and car parking available in secure complex.

Pets & farm animals

My full of personality funny and loving 11 year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes mid 2022 and we have now got him to a great stable condition. I am looking for a sitter who has experience with diabetic animals and injecting (or willing to learn). He is fantastic with his shots, and I swear he meows to remind me some mornings!. He currently has 2 injections a day 12 hrs apart landing around 7.30am and 7.30pm time slots. He has a big appetite and can be quite demanding for food, but I’ll have detailed instructions written for you so don’t worry he’s definitely not starving! He is totally fine for the day if you’re heading out for the day. This would also suit someone who works from home, or can ensure they’ll be there at medication times (an hour give or take). My friend is available to come and help with a shot here in there if you’re unable to do it. I will supply with all contacts and supplies needed. <br />

House Tasks

His care is the very most important thing about this house sit. Keeping up with his medicine, food and water. Also I’d love plenty of updates please.. I do get nervous about leaving him, but I’m also looking forward to a holiday from the routine! House plants to be watered too (there’s a few of them! And general care for the property. Quiet enjoyment as there are neighbours downstairs, floor boards aren’t the quietest in an apartment unfortunately! Lastly, Enjoy the area. It’s such a great spot to explore xx
