Nice 3 bed house in Bundoora just off Settlement Road that is warm and cosy via central heating but also has reverse cycle AC in the main living area. We have unlimited wifi with NBN speeds as well that will be available for the duration of the stay. We generally stock the fridge as well for friends and family who have sat for us before so we can chat about what you may need during your stay and will make sure the fridge has the essentials and some goodies in there for you to enjoy.

Pets & farm animals

We have 2 beautiful and energetic purebred Huskies named Lykah (9 y.o female) and Kodah (7 y.o male) that will require attention throughout the stay. They each have a bowl of food twice a day and we will have ample food for them during the stay. They need to be walked at least every second day but we would prefer someone who was willing to walk them daily and someone generally fit and into that. The walks here down along the Darrabin river are beautiful so it's easy to get out and about in the area really close to our home. Our Huskies are working dogs and tend to pull on the lead so you should be happy walking briskly with them or perhaps a light run if you are a runner. They are also not to be trusted off lead (if they do happen to accidentally get off, they do come back eventually but are very strong willed and love to explore their surroundings.) and so it's important that they are placed on lead inside the home or back yard before the walk and only let off lead once back at home. Despite their energy, they are the absolute best companions and will sleep on the floor at the end of the bed in the main bedroom and give you great company throughout the stay.

House Tasks

Feed the huskies morning and evening, walk them daily, put out Red and Yellow or Green bin on Tuesday evening, keep huskies in laundry with their beds down on the floor and back door open and ample water in their water bowl whenever you leave the house.
