We're looking for a house sitter as we're going away for a holiday in August next year.
We hope to be able to find someone who will love our home as much as we do, and to care for it as well as our dogs. This is a non-smoking house.
We're based in olde Berwick, South East Melbourne, on a lovely street with a great view out the back balcony of the Dandenong Ranges.
We're 17 minute walk to the shops and cafes (or a 3 minute drive), 15 min walk to the Berwick train station. We are surrounded by lovely walking trails through the suburb.
We have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen if you love cooking! There's two fireplaces and wood, and also a gas heater to keep you warm during winter.
We also have a vegetable garden that's thriving - which will run on timed irrigation - so will only need a check once a day to make sure everything has run as it should. You will be welcome to harvest whatever is available from the garden.
We also have our two lovely dogs which will need looking after, a golden retriever who will be 1.5 years in Aug 2024, and a cavoodle who will be 4 years in Aug 2024.
They are both potty trained and will take themselves out through the doggy door. They're a bunch of fun and very affectionate.
They will need to have two meals a day along with their supplements - which are super easy to give (considering one of them is a forever hungry golden retriever). They will need a walk once a day (or at least once in two days). They sleep by themselves in the living room.
We would love to do a meet and greet prior to the house sit.
