About Our Home:
Nestled in a quiet corner of Hobart's vibrant heart, our home is like a secret garden in the city. It's a peaceful spot where you can escape the city buzz but still be part of it when you feel like stepping out. Within an easy 14-minute walk, you can soak up the energy of the CBD, Salamanca, and Battery Point.

Meet Shaka, Our Furry Family Member:
Our 2-year-old British/Scottish Fold cat loves being around people and will likely be your little shadow, following you around with curious eyes and a playful spirit. Don't be surprised if he curls up on your lap while you're reading or joins you in bed – he's quite the snuggler!

We're Looking For:
A caring, experienced pet sitter who'd enjoy the calm of our home and the company of our affectionate Shaka. Your role would be to fill our home with love and care for Shaka as if he were your own while also keeping our plants happy and our home safe.

Your Experience:

Our two-year-old feline companion with love for people, playtime, and his favourite bikkies. Shaka is a bundle of energy, always ready to pounce on his toys or engage in a fun game, but he also possesses an incredibly gentle soul. In all his time with us, he has never swiped, scratched, or bitten anyone—a testament to his kind and tender nature. Shaka cherishes his independence and will grace your lap with his presence on his own terms. If you're open to it, he'll happily join you in bed, becoming a warm, purring presence through the night. As an indoor-only cat, he finds comfort and safety within the home. His sweet demeanour and loving ways are sure to capture your heart and make your time with him truly special.

House Tasks

We're seeking house sitters to care for our garden lovingly and a few indoor plants. The role involves basic gardening tasks. Equally important is keeping our home safe and secure during our absence. We ask you to ensure our home's safety, manage basic security measures, and oversee mail or deliveries.
