About
The building is a historic landmark in the beautiful town of Laura on a peaceful one acre. The building was originally built as a brewery around 1880. Later it became a family residence and a B and B. It has many beautiful trees which attract birdlife. It's located just a block from the main street where there's a post office, a cafe, a small supermarket, a unique chocolate shop, a great pub and much more. The property has three levels and three bedrooms. The town of Laura is 2.5 hours from Adelaide in the Southern Flinders Ranges. It is an easy drive from Laura to The stunning Flinders Ranges. I am happy for a single person, or a family of up to four people to house-sit.
The sitter will need to take care of two very well-behaved Puli dogs, Chewie and Dixie and a ginger cat named Meggsy. Chewie and Dixie love company and they love excursions. They are non-shedding, medium to small-sized dogs.
Pets & farm animals
There will be two dogs, Chewie, who is about 9, and Dixie who is about 4. They are Pulis, which is a Hungarian Sheepdog. They are affectionate house-dogs and they love lots of human company. They enjoy car rides and walks. There is also a ginger cat named Meggsy. He is about 3 years old. He spends his days outside and nights inside.
House Tasks
The House-Sitter would need to take good care of the animals and keep the house clean. The lawn would need watering every couple of days also. There will be a gardener to mow the lawn occasionally and tidy the yard.
