We are looking for a sitter to stay in our 4 bedroom home in Monbulk on 5 acres. Indoors we have 2 cats and 1 active kelpie x and outdoors are 4 mischievous mini goats and one 16hh horse. We ideally would like to find someone who has experience with horses and is confident as Goldie (16hh standardbred gelding) will need rugging and feeding during this time. The goats will need daily checking, locking in at night and will take all the love and scratches you can give.
There is plenty to see and do in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges though I am hoping for someone who will be happy to to spend a reasonable amount of time at home to keep an eye on the animals.
Our house is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, wood heater, airconditioner and plenty of windows & sitting spaces to enjoy the views, perfect for a week enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. You will need a car but we only a 5 minute drive from the main st where you will find major supermarkets, post office, shops and cafes.
This would ideally suit a couple but families are welcome. We are leaving on early morning on 4th April but would ideally like to meet you and show you the ropes prior to this, and would be happy to have you to stay the night prior if possible.
