We sit atop a hill overlooking the Yarra Valley (North facing deck with 200 degree views to mountain beautiful ranges)On 10 acres of bush block, we are off grid and have track access to the log cabin in "the middle of nowhere" - or so it feels with no neighbours abutting our property. Serenity.We have 2 5 year old sausage dogs ("the good bois") and an old Kelpie X ("the old girl"). They all get along well - the boys doing zoomies and sleeping side by side. Mimi never far from us as she is totally deaf, a little blind and very slow. She sleeps about 18 hours a day but still comes to life when the boys are having a play. If you like the idea of exchanging some dog love for a few weeks in what still feels like an airbnb to us (the views never get boring!) then send us a message to be considered for this opportunity.
Pets & farm animals
2 boys just need food (twice a day) and water and the occasional "thow the ball off the balcony" excitement. Mimi (the old girl) needs a half tablet and some syrup medicine on her food in the morning. She doesn't run (takes it easy on the walking these days) but loves to be close to humans when she is awake.
House Tasks
This place is the kind of place you would rent on airbnb for the "relax and recharge" oppotunity. The echindas and kookaburras visit regularly, the koalas and goannas less often. The wallabies are usually hopping through the bush below the deck so look out for them on the track as you come and go. Aside from watering the indoor and balcony plants there is nothing that needs to be done.
