About

We're looking for an active, non-smoking person or couple to care for our 13- year old border collie in our renovated federation house with enclosed backyard. The house is on a quiet street a 5-min walk from High Street shops, cafes and restaurants, a stone's throw from lovely parks and green spaces and about 8km from the CBD with trams and train a short stroll away.
Our rescue dog is people-focused and affectionate, but anxious around other animals, particularly other dogs. She is accustomed to someone being around particularly in the day (alone no longer than 4-5 hours in a stretch), and her nature would suit a sitter who can provide her with plenty of mental stimulation and at least 2 walks/day. Pets & farm animals

Walk our dog minimum twice daily. Play fetch, give her jobs or get her to do tricks for treats to keep her mind engaged, and give her lots of cuddles. <br />She loves raw veggie bits, but she also enjoys her raw bones for dinner. We'd make sure she has plenty of portioned bones during the time we're away, you'd need to be okay with feeding these to her. <br />Please send us heaps of updates/photos so we know she's not missing us.

House Tasks

Water plants inside and veg/fruit beds outside.<br />Collect mail.<br />Put bins out.<br />Feed food scraps to worms or compost.<br />Help yourself to veg/fruit growing in the garden
