We are situated in a small rural community about 30 km from Warwick in Queensland, One and a half hours to Brisbane and two hours to the Gold Coast. Our village has a pub but nothing else, so shopping for groceries etc needs to be done in Warwick. The property is roughly 17 acres and we are on tank water with septic facilities. There are steps leading up to the house so wheelchair access is not available.
We have two adorable cats who are extremely friendly and easy to look after. They will simply need to be fed morning and evening and have their litter trays cleaned each day. It would be good if our house sitter could also occasionally fill up a 40 litre water container for our native wallabies and bird life. Just a few pot plants will need watering, but no other garden duties will be needed.
Our location is not far from the Main Range National Park where bushwalking is popular, about an hour to the very scenic Queen Mary Falls and just over an hour to Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt vineyards.
