Hi there, we are looking for someone to look after our home, two dogs and some fish for 5 weeks in August and September 2024. The house is in Lake Albert NSW a suburb of Wagga Wagga. It is a comfortable 4 bedroom house with a good sized backyard, large garage with access to the back yard, with room to park a caravan.

The house has ducted heating and cooling, a nice outdoor area, and is pretty low maintenance. Lake Albert is a nice suburb of Wagga Wagga and the house is about a 5 minute walk to the lake itself. The lake caters for boating and fishing, as well as nice walking tracks around the lake, and linked bushland areas.

Wagga itself has everything you need and plenty of interesting things to do. The house is about a 10 minute drive from the CBD. There are a multitude of walking/cycling tracks all around Wagga which are easily accessible from Lake Albert. Nearby there are mountains and the towns of Tumut and Tumbarumba to the east, and more open farmland and quaint towns such as Narrandera to the west.

We have two dogs who need to be looked after both are working dogs one is very friendly the other is a little aloof but he has a nice nature. The dogs would need to be walked twice a week at a minimum, and are familiar with going for a walk so pretty easy to manage. The dogs get fed in the afternoon/evening daily, so house sitters would need to be home for the duration of the sit.

We are open to discussing a sitter bringing their pets.

We would be happy to have you stay an extra week or so either side of the sit if you have a caravan, and we could probably organise something along these lines if you don't have a van. It would be beneficial if you could come a few days before the sit starts, to get used to the animals and how things work. Dates in the listing are the dates we will be away.
