We're looking for a house sitter for ~6 weeks who will care for our slightly high needs cat, George. We live in a newly built, architecturally designed home with a pool and within walking distance of the beautiful Umina Beach. George is quite easy but he has a few quirks and also has FIV, which means he needs some extra attention. He's always very sensitive to routine changes so someone who will be there to feed him morning and night and stick to his routine is crucial to us while we're away.

There's a bus at the end of our street that takes you to Woy Woy station (1 hour and 10 minutes to Central) and you can walk into Umina from here (with Coles, Woolworths, restaurants etc.) We will can also leave you with our car.

Pets & farm animals

Male cat (7 years)<br /><br />We rescued George at 3 years of age and he is the sweetest and easiest cat when everything is going according to his routine. But he becomes easily stressed when he misses a meal or his routine goes out of whack, and he can start peeing in different spots in the house (always fun!) He also has FIV so other than letting him outside for a supervised sniff in the backyard each day, he is an indoor cat. And yes I realise I sound like a crazy cat woman haha! We adopted a moggy thinking he'd be a tough, low maintenance cat but he's quite high needs, but he's part of the family now so we wouldn't have it any other way.

House Tasks

Taking care of George is the main one - we need someone who can stick to his routine of feeding him morning and night and also keep an eye on him and take him to the vet if he displays any signs of illness (we will pay of course).<br /><br />Watering indoor plants would also be great.
