We are looking for a couple to housesit our 3 bedroom home in Streaky Bay, South Australia. The house has a waterfront position in the town with magnificent views of the bay. The house is a 1970s retro style. It is extremely clean and comfortable and while it is not luxurious, it is a home and better that the average seaside holiday house. It has reverse cycle aircon and heating, a dishwasher and stunning views. You can walk into town and to the jetty in minutes. Steaky Bay is a remote location, which is part of its charm and known for its great fishing and squeaky clean beaches.We are flexible with the dates.We prefer someone with references.
Pets & farm animals
We have two small dogs: a 5 year oldfox terrier x cavalier (Winston) and a 2 year old tentafield terrier, (Skip). We need a couple because Skip has trust issues and is reactive with other dogs. He is only small so when you walk him it is easier to just pick him up while he has his tantrum. Please note that is not what the trainer wants us to do but it will be easiest for you. Skip is a loving dog. Winston has no problems and is also a loving dog. They have a doggy door and a fully fenced yard so there is not problem if you want to leave them to go surfing, fishing or out for coffee for a few hours. They are definately not coffee shop dogs.
House Tasks
We would like you to collect mail, walk dogs, maintain house. You must be prepared to pick up dog poo.
