Commencing soon

The property is a lovely 5 acres at Taradale, near Castlemaine and just over an hour from Melbourne.
I have 2 dogs, 2 horses and 1 sheep. It is an enchanting property with 2 dams, a vege garden, and quiet areas to relax. The goldfields region has plenty of places to explore, including historical towns, bush walking trails, restaurants and wineries. The dogs, Jasper and Maddie need a little walk around the property in the am and they love to be played with. Depending on the weather, the vegetable garden and home garden may need watering, less so in winter, depending on the weather. There is a log fire for heating, and a couple of electric panel heaters for the bedrooms or lounge as needed. The home is tranquil and a good place to come for some rest, reading, handcrafts, meditation and relaxation.

Pets & farm animals

The dogs Jasper and Maddie need a little walk around the property and love attention. I have two horses Dreams and Bandit that also like a pat, and some carrots or apples, and depending on the feed in the paddock, probably a biscuit of lucerne in the morning. There is also a hand raised sheep 'Lamb-Baby' that thinks it is a dog/human and is rather assertive. She likes a bit of a pat and some attention too!.

House Tasks

Enjoy relaxing in the countryside. Walk the dogs around the property and feed them. Usually a dog bone in the am, and dog biscuits and meat in the evening. The horses like a pat, and a biscuit of lucerne hay in the morning, and putting their grass hay in reach in the shed for browsing, and again in the late afternoon, getting their grass hay in reach and maybe also an apple or a carrot. Depending on the weather, the vegetable garden may need watering and if very dry the rest of the home garden too. Less so in winter, depending on the weather.
