John, my husband, Marley the cat and I enjoy a peaceful life in this picturesque area overlooking North West Bay, Kunyani, Mt Wellington, and Bruny Island. There are walking tracks and small beaches nearby. The closest shopping centre is a 15 minute drive to Kingston with Hobart approximately a 30-45 minute drive.

We require a special sitter who absolutely loves cats to look after our adorable and rather spoilt oriental, Marley. This would be the main focus of your stay. She is an inside only cat and is never allowed outside although she does have access to an outside run. She is fed mid afternoon (if you are at home) and has supper before you go to bed. In the morning she has a snack. She is very greedy but is not to be over fed. Being an oriental, she is typical of the siamese breed in that she is a sticky beak, cheeky, very active, loves being brushed (but not on the tummy) and also loves cuddles. At times she can be quite timid. She is not used to small children.

The gate into our property must be kept closed at all times to stop wallabies coming into the garden.
No other pets are to have access inside our house or grounds and they are definitely not to stay under any circumstances.
We have 7 birdbaths that we like to keep clean and filled. It will bring you much pleasure watching all the birds species coming to bathe.
Our indoor plants will require watering.
We will arrange for someone to come in to do the mowing.
We are on tank water and have our own sewerage system.
We are rather house proud and would expect the place to be kept clean and to come home to find it as we left it.

We have access and room for a caravan or motor home to be parked undercover.
