We have a newly build 4 bedroom home on a rural property which offers peace and quiet. It is on a dirt road so a 4WD is a must for this housesit. We are a 20 min drive from the village of Bungendore and 1 hour drive into Canberra. We are looking for housesitters to look after our 2 dogs, one of which is a rescue from a puppy farm and needs someone with patience and experience with anxious dogs. In return, you will be able to enjoy the great outdoors and a beautiful view across Lake George - our property is a Wildlife Sanctuary which means it is a safe space for the animals to live, no farm duties are required. We can offer accommodation for a few days either side for you to settle and to fit with your plans. We are also open to someone with a well-socialised dog, but no cats. There is also space to park the caravan if needed. Although it is out of the way we have great WiFi and mobile phone coverage! We look forward to hearing from you.
