We live 15 minutes from the city of Hobart on the eastern shore in the Otago area in a cul-de-sac with only 4 other houses - a very quiet neighbourhood. We are on 2 acres of garden and lawns. Maintenance of these wouldn't be required during the sit unless you want to. We have 2 small dogs both Shi Tzu crosses aged 13 and 15. One is outgoing, the other can be timid. They love a short stroll each day ie not a power walk - too many interesting smells to investigate as far as they're concerned. We would like someone quiet, and definitely a non-smoker who loves dogs and can keep things neat and tidy. We don't have the internet connected or a phone so you will need a mobile with capacity to hot spot should you require Netflix and such. We have reverse cycle heating, and solar powered front gate. There are many birds including rosellas who we occasionally throw out seed for, along with currawongs, butcher birds and magpies who also enjoy a feed of mince. We also have 2 goldfish in a small pond outside who need a feed once or twice a week. The house overlooks the Derwent River and is 10 minutes by car to Lindisfarne or Glenorchy shops.
