We would like to find a reliable and experienced house sitter to look after our pets and our house for a little over 2 weeks commencing 16 October 2024.We are located in Glossodia, which is a quiet semi rural area, in the Hawkesbury area of Sydney.We are close to local shops and services in the suburb.Aldi and Coles plus a range of other stores are at Nth Richmond which is 8km away. Richmond and Windsor have all the services you could want and are 10 & 11km away respectively.We are set on 5 acres and have 2 ponies and 1 dog that require looking after.The dog (Buddy) 11yo Labrador Retriever who is low maintenance, friendly and pretty straightforward to care for. Buddy does have to have 2 pills morning and night after his feed. He is had these in a cheese ball followed by a carrot snack.The ponies are not difficult either, but we would prefer someone who has had some experience with horses - handling, making up feeds, rugging/unrugging and being able to identify if something not right with them (eg: colic). Also, 1 pony requires medication each morning - 1 pill which is hidden is a mash ball that he takes readily. If you're travelling with a caravan or RV, we have plenty of space for you to maneuver and park your vehicle - and power and water are available if you choose to stay in your caravan/RV.You would have the place to yourselves and access to all services at home like WiFi, TV streaming services, etc.There is a small home office set up if you want to work from home.Our house is modest but comfortable, and is best suited for a couple or single house sitter. It has 2 bedrooms + office, and the house is air-conditioned. For short stays like this we give our house sitters access to the 2nd bedroom.If you are interested, please message us and we can give you some more information about our pets, house and the area generally.
