THE AREA: On the Northern Beaches of Sydney - a short drive to splendid beaches and a ten minute stroll to local shops with cafes, IGA, restaurants, chemist & bottle shop. There's also lovely bushwalks up the road..
THE HOUSE: Airy, bright & tranquil with a leafy outlook. The living dining and kitchen area are open plan & open onto deck. Contemporary kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven etc that has bi-fold windows that also open onto deck.
We have air-con in the main living area that we rarely need, as we usually get a nice summer breeze off the Pacific Ocean. We have fans if required. We have a smart TV.
Your bedroom is off living area with windows on three sides (with blinds and insect screens, a double bed and couch. There’s also a spare room with wardrobe space and space to store your luggage or extra items. The laundry is downstairs near the washing line.
The sunny north facing veranda has a table, chairs, gas BBQ & some plants. Front and back gardens are reasonably low maintenance, yet shall need watering in summer and of course “poo-patrol”. We are able to arrange someone to mow lawns if required.
We have a car port and can make space for your car there if required.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: We hope for our house-sitter to provide care for our two dogs and home. Our pooches are fed twice a day thrive on a couple of shortish sniffy walks a day OR one larger one if they’ve spent some time in the garden. When we go out our dogs stay inside and they don't fret if left alone.
We’d appreciate our mail collected and the garden and house/balcony plants kept hydrated. Our house is relatively uncluttered and fairly easy to maintain with wooden floors and just one rug.
