We are looking for a mature person (or couple) to house and pet sit in East Keilor from Sat 5 Oct 24 to Mon 14 Oct 24 [9 nights]. Preferably someone who works from home.

We have a medium sized house (3 bedrooms) with a good sized yard with a large pergola. Close to shops and bus stop. Essendon Train station approximately 5 kms. Bus direct to station less than 1 km.

We have an 12-year old female Labrador X Kelpie dog (Shelby) that requires daily walks (she loves the ball chucker) and lots of cuddles, and an 12-year old Cattle dog (Ruby) who requires the same, though is not interested in chasing balls and has arthritis so cannot walk very far. We also have a dog pram for her available if needed.

We also have 2 cats that just need to be fed and kitty litter maintained, although they usually do their toilet business in the garden. All animals sleep inside at night but happy outside during the day depending on weather conditions.

House has ducted heating, split system cooling to the living/kitchen area and main bedroom, a Coonara wood heater in the lounge room and all the usual conveniences. There is a large BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture.
