Hi, we have a 3 bedroom house located on a 5 acre property in Gocup,
ten minutes by car from the Tumut town site and about an hour and a
quarter by car to Wagga. We are looking for someone/couple who would
like to enjoy the peace and quiet at our place while we are away and
take care of our fur and feather kids. We will be away from 31st of
October until the 3rd of November 2024.
Located an easy drive to many great walks, Northern end of Kosciuszko
NP and the Blowering dam.

Pets & farm animals

We have 1 large horse and a mini pony, a talking pink and grey galah,
a dog and a cat that will need taking care of. The horse and pony are
well behaved and live together in the paddock and are low maintenance.
They just need water checking and a daily visual check over for any
issues (I will leave a local contact who can come and take care of any
problems if necessary). The galah (Archie) lives outside in an aviary
near the front door and just needs food and water checking. He is very
cheeky and can talk! The cat, Mo, takes care of herself as long as her
food is topped up, she will tell you when it is empty! Finally the
dog, Darna (kelpie x), will be your best pal and greet you like she
has been abandoned for days every time you come home. She is very
obedient, loves running (but walks well on the lead if needed) and
loves to snuggle up on the sofa in the evenings. Animals can be left
for the day without a problem and feed times are not rigid.

House Tasks

Tasks are really only taking care of the animals. Would prefer someone
that might be interested in repeat stays. We are hoping to be able to
go away more frequently and plan to go away again for a longer period
at the end of the year/January but that is not locked in yet. Thank
