Hello! We are looking for someone to house/pet sit while we're away for 2 weeks in June. The job would include caring for our two cats (Porridge and Bean) and keeping a few house plants alive!

The 'house' is a 1 bedroom apartment in Brunswick East, on the 7th floor with pretty brilliant, unobstructed north-east views. House includes all the basics (dishwasher, washing machine, unlimited internet, and coffee machine of course) and is 1 min walk from Lygon St tram and 10 min walk from Nicholson!

MUST be someone who loves cats and is willing to give ours lots of love and attention, feed twice daily and keep on top of litter trays regularly!

Pets & farm animals

Porridge - our beige boi. 2.5 year old male cat, very self sufficient. Loves scratches but only if he trusts you. Also loves climbing to the highest point in the room (top of fridge, top of doors, shower etc)<br />Bean - calico girl. 1.5 year female. The most affectionate and ridiculous thing you will ever meet. Loves snuggles and food. <br /><br />Both cats are desexed and litter trained, though Porridge will pee on the bathroom/timber floor if litter tray cleanliness isn't maintained so be warned!<br /><br />Cats get along and like to play/chase each other but they're not best friends. Sometimes play escalates and I will intervene but its never major!<br /><br />We strictly DO NOT let cats onto balcony and be very cautious going in and out so as not to let them bolt out of the open door!

House Tasks

Tasks would include feeding cats AM/PM, keeping litter clean (scooping daily and fully replacing every 3 days), playing with/giving catties lots of love, watering houseplants (just once as it will be id-winter) and collecting mail.
