About

Our little home is in a bayside area, a few blocks from the beach. Tram is at the end of our street and takes 15 minutes to the city. There are many great outdoor cafes and restaurants all around, a dog park at the end of the street, nice beach walks, yoga spots and Albert Park lake is a 10 min walk. Our place is surrounded by the loveliest neighbours, it's a quirky triangular home with 1 bedroom [plus a mezzanine] and lots of art [my profession]. As the house is compact, I am looking for a single, mature [in age or character] person to stay. No sleepovers or parties please.

Pets & farm animals

We have 2 lovely dogs and one cat, all 'rescues'. Pip, Dug and Harry. They are extremely relaxed, never bark or [rarely] cause mischief.
One of the dogs, Pip, was rescued from an awful puppy farm that had her caged for the first 6 years of her life, so she is a bit of a scaredy cat and loves affection more than walks in the scary outside world. She's an old girl now, deaf and 99% blind but knows her way around the house. The other dog, Dug, is a 3-legged wonder dog and stupidly happy. His tail rarely stops wagging. He has a couple of 20min walks a day. Harry's an affectionate, senior marmalade cat. Feed him and he's happy. They are all very low maintenance.
The only issue we have is with Pip. Due to her fear of going on walks, she will only go the the toilet in our front yard, so this needs to be attended to and disposed of each day. Other than that, she's an angel.

House Tasks

Collect mail, hug animals and texting updates from time to time would be lovely. I have a few house pot plants that like to be watered every couple of days. No parties or sleep overs please..
