I own a 3 bedroom house on 10 acres.
I have to go to Germany in July for my father's 80th birthday and need someone to look after
2 horses (Thoroughbreds).
Need to be fed hard feed am and pm which will need to be mixed up, moistened and fed. Horses need to be separated during feeding times. Horses also need to be rugged pm according to temperature (not time) and un-rugged in the morning.
I also have 2 house cats that need to be fed am and pm and kitty litter changed at least once a day. Not allowed outside!
I also feed wild birds every afternoon (that is optional).
My beautiful house and property is in Magnolia 4650 QLD. 12km south of Maryborough and 30km from Hervey Bay. Some call it Bidwill.
Incredible sunsets out here which can be watched from the 360° verandah with day beds and sitting areas on every side.
Brand new bathroom with bath tub, step and ambulant hand rail.
Candidate MUST HAVE HORSE EXPERIENCE!
There is space for a motorhome or caravan if needed.
Candidate will have a spare bedroom in the house. House has wood fire heater AND reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Pets & farm animals

2 horses Thoroughbreds. <br />Feeding am and pm.<br />Feed needs to be mixed and wet down.<br />Separate horses for feeding time.<br />Rugging pm according to temperature and unrugging am.<br />Bagging of horse manure from stables and the small front paddock.<br />Checking water daily.<br /><br />2 house cats.<br />Feeding cats am and pm.<br />Checking water.<br />Cleaning kitty litter at least once a day.

House Tasks

Basically just looking after the animals.<br />If you feel like mowing with the ride-on mower, or cutting the hedge on the front side of the house, you can do so. It'll be winter, so not much mowing to do.
