About

Our home is on 50 acres in a beautiful rural valley. We have two dogs, a labrador and a Bassett Hound cross, some sheep and chickens and a pet bird named Maverick. Our house has 4 bedrooms and is air conditioned (central heating and cooling). We live 10km from the nearest town and close to a large lake/dam and bird watching dam with a bird hide. It is peaceful, private and pretty. We have an outdoor spa and pizza oven and a wrap around verandah. We have two spoilt, human loving dogs; a labrador and a Bassett Hound cross. They are mostly outside dogs but they love human attention whenever they can get it. One of our dogs is vision impaired but he manages his every day life very well. A sit for us involves feeding chickens, bird and dogs and ensuring there is water for the sheep if it's dry as well as giving the dogs lots of pats.

Pets & farm animals

Make sure chickens and sheep are ok. Let chickens out each morning and put away each night. Feed and water and talk to maverick (the cockatiel). Feed and pat dogs.
