My house is in the Inner West, not the Eastern Suburbs! It is an older style free standing 3 bedroom Victorian cottage in a quiet street, with a big green back garden. The laundry is in an old style outside area. I have an 8 year old desexed Tenterfield Terrier (like a mini foxie) who likes people, prefers women, not keen on other dogs sadly, and hates cats! The local area is very Italian with a traditional fruit and veg shop, good coffee bars, two great pastry shops, a cheese shop, as well as many pizza and other restaurants. A train station is a 20 minute walk, buses to the city 3 - 5 minutes away and the light rail around a 15 minutes walk. We need an older, retired couple or woman, who is happy to water the pots and the garden every morning and to take Banjo for a walk at least once a day. Another friend will come occasionally to take him for a walk in the afternoon. Banjo is a very friendly lad. He sleeps in his bed or on the sofa on a rug. At night he sleeps on the bed with me and he hops under the covers on a cool night so we need someone who is ok with that. He is a small (5.5kg) small short haired dog, regularly bathed and is flea free. We would prefer someone who is happy to be home most of the time as he prefers company but he can be left for an hour or so.
