Our cozy home is nestled in a serene and quiet rainforest setting in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, perfect for someone who enjoys the beauty of quiet natural surroundings, yet within easy reach to Montville, Mapleton and Maleny.

Apart from the general care for our garden, chickens and fishponds, what we would really like from you is to care for our little 12 year old West Highland Terrier dog 'Oscar'. Oscar has a calm and loving temperament and while we are away we would dearly love someone to care for him as we do, by keeping up with his daily treatment of medication and supplements with a strict diet for his skin allergy and dry eyes (he is losing his eyesight). Honestly speaking, we would like someone who is able to give him lots of love and attention towards his health, with a daily short walk from home and a weekly shampoo & bath. Oscar loves carrots (yes carrots), so he would never turn down the offer of a carrot as a treat! Oscar is happy to stay home, though we don't normally leave him alone at night and not for more than 4-5 hours through the day. All medication and special dietary food for Oscar will be provided for you for the duration of your stay.
