Hi there,

I have come across some wonderful profiles and thought I’d try reach out to see if you might be available for a house sit the beautiful and ever growing Vasse, Busselton.

Ideally looking for a single person or mature couple to fulfil our house sitting needs, as basic and simple as they may be.

Our main requirement is keeping our lovely old girl "Shorty" company. She’s a 13-year-old kelpie x corgi who is now very much in her “retired athlete” era.

These days her hobbies include short beach walks and an evening lap around the block, supervised pottering, snacks, and quality chill time with her humans, or any human really.

She does have severe arthritis from many corgi related orthopaedic surgeries so needs a strong pain relief tablet twice a day, but she’s an absolute champion about taking it — genuinely the easiest dog on earth to medicate.

Other household tasks are pretty low key:
• feeding our marine fish tank once a day
• watering many plants as needed
• generally just enjoying the house and keeping things neat and tidy

We’re located in Vasse on a quiet street, about three houses from a beautiful nature playground and park, and only a short 3 minute drive to the beautiful Abbey beach.

Shorty’s biggest request is simply someone who’s happy to hang out with her in the evenings and send the occasional update so we know she hasn’t completely taken over your lives.

Pets & farm animals

Shorty-Pants : kelpie x corgi, who may act like the boss, give her a cuddle and she will melt your heart and talk your ear off.

Although they are quieter and less work, we have MANY plants we ideally would like to keep alive so the occasional water and kind words is appreciated too.

House Tasks

Collect the mail so our home doesn't look abandoned.

Looking for someone reliable, lovely and kind to live in our home while we are away and ideally, if we can build that lovely and trusting relationship with you and with our dog, future house sits optional.
