My apartment is a beautiful ground floor 2 bedroom (plus sunroom), art deco apartment in a building of 4 apartments
It is north east facing and looks out over a park opposite. It’s close to Waverton train station, and you can hear the trains, but it’s not at all noisy. Waverton is a lovely quiet neighbourhood a 10 min walk to the harbour, 5 minutes from North Sydney. There's nice park opposite, plus Waverton Park is a harbour front park 10 minutes walk away, and Balls Head National Park is a 15 min walk. It has a lovely community feel. It is only 3 train stops from the city.
I'm looking for a retiree or other mature person to look after my apartment and my elderly cat, Billy, while I'm away in the UK.

Pets & farm animals

The main thing I need from the house sitter is to look after my lovely old tabby Billy, who is a very healthy and independent 20 year old. He's not a lap cat, but he is friendly. He sleeps a lot during the day and needs to be inside at night. He needs attention and is used to having someone home most of the time.

House Tasks

I need 2 bins to be taken out once a week , plus a recycling bin. Once a fortnight I need the 2 Green waste bins to be put out on the footpath, these are quite heavy. As I'm on the ground floor I need someone to close the front and back door of the building by 10pm. I also want you to water all my indoor plants.
It’s a friendly building , 4 units in my block, 4 in the opposite building, with a big garden.
My cat Billy is now a bit deaf , so can be very loud! He's an easy cat, sleeps a lot, likes his second meal by 5 pm in the evening, so this wont suit someons who works late or has 2 jobs! He can use his cat door during the day, but needs to be kept inside at night. He likes company , and will sit next to you on the couch.
