We moved from Melbourne over 15 years ago to enjoy the country lifestyle and this area of the Central Goldfields is fantastic. If you love the country, great local food/produce, markets and a bustling arts scene this could be the perfect house sit!

Our house is located about a 10-15 minute drive outside of Castlemaine and under 10 minutes from Maldon, Victoria (small town called Walmer - car would be necessary). The architect designed house is on 20 acres (within bushland), consisting of two pavilions - one with the main bedroom, ensuite, powder room, laundry (where the dogs sleep at night) and an open plan living/kitchen/dining area. The living area has panoramic views of the bush towards Mount Tarrengower. The second pavilion has another bedroom, bathroom, WC and small gym.

During the house sit you would be looking after the house, dogs and chickens. A 7 year old Pharaoh Hound , 5 year old Pharaoh Hound and 3 year old Brittany Spaniel. All are very friendly and love snuggling on the couch! We generally run them in secured garden, which means then don't need to be taken on walks daily. The dogs also have a dog house/run in which they sleep and spend most of the day
