We are a retired couple, Mike and Cathy. We enjoy traveling around Australia and are now grey nomads. Mike is a retired draftsman/landscaper and Cathy is a retired nurse. We are aged in our mid 60s and both fit and well and enjoy daily walks. We are trustworthy, tidy and non smokers. Very reliable and always turn up for appointments. We enjoy walking (especially with dogs), gardening, travel, beaches and reading. We have had previous sits in Tasmania, Victoria, NSW and Queensland over the last 5 years. We will look after your home in the same manner we love and respect our own home. We understand the importance of looking after your loved pet and house. We really enjoy our time with the dogs and cats when we house sit as we are unable to have a pet when traveling with us at the moment. We enjoy stopping for a while and developing a friendship with a dog or cat or both. We find we have more time to spend with the animals now and enjoy their company. Both sessions were for a couple of weeks and involved looking after our cat and now our dog as well as maintaining a “lived in” look to our house. Michael is an experienced landscape gardener and builder and Cathy is a registered theatre nurse, so you can expect that they have an excellent understanding and control of things while you are away.
