We are a mature responsible couple who love to travel and experience the beauty and culture of the places we visit. We have always had pets, love animals and realise that making sure they are healthy and happy is of paramount importance. We also own properties and therefore know the importance of maintaining homes to ensure they are safe and well cared for.
We are both just sixty and recently retired from the workforce. We are fit and enjoy walking and outdoors activities. We lived abroad for 8 years and just enjoy slow travel, while meeting new people and experiencing new locations. We have had the opportunity to house sit in The UK, France Spain and Portugal as well as housesitting on our visits back to Australia. We use a variety of house-sitting websites and can provide excellent references if required.
Why we want to housesit
Housesitting gives us the opportunity to broaden our horizons, meet new people and of course look after animals. We love the idea of helping someone take a much-needed break without the worry of leaving their pets in care. We have experience in looking after animals and understand they are all individual with their own personality and special needs.
We have spent a lot of the last few years house-sitting / pet-sitting throughout Australia & Europe.
