Hi, we are Lee and Anna, an easy-going couple, who love travelling, who would like to help you out with caring for your home and pets while you are away. We believe house sitting is a mutually beneficial experience and that the house sitters profit greatly so we would like to assure you that while you’re away your pets and home will be in the safest hands.
We have only just joined Happy House Sitters, but have been enjoying house sitting and have obtained many bookings through other house sitting web sites.
Ania - I was born in Poland and came to Australia in the early ‘90’s in my mid 20’s and have been a citizen almost since then. My work in Australia is office administration and more lately beauty consultancy.
Lee - I'm 51, was born in the UK and am currently enjoying a sabbatical. My career has included IT, home maintenance/construction and more recently musician.
We started our house sitting taking care of Benny, an energetic Australian cattle dog and his companion Two’ey, a wire-haired Jack Russell. We created a facebook page for them so their owner can keep up-to-date with them while they're away, here's a link:

They required walks twice a day and lots of love and affection.
Since then we have cared for pets in Adelaide, Bowral, Canberra, Hervey Bay, Arakoon Beach and Newcastle in Australia, Cambridge in England and La Romana in Spain. The majority of these appointments have been looking after dogs and cats but several have included horses, birds, rabbits and sheep.
This variety of experience has lead us to believe that successful sitting is only possible where the sitters are trustworthy and can be depended on to care for your home and pets reliably and is not something to be taken lightly.
We want to continue house-sitting because of the freedom it affords us to experience a city or region where the cost to us is not a financial one but instead the commitment to care for your pets and home. This means we can enjoy freedom of debts and other constraints and concentrate on the diversity and flexibility that house sitting offers.
We’re both young at heart, enjoy a change of scenery and the challenge a new home and it’s dependent inhabitants (your lovely pets...) bring. We like to find ourselves in new and unexpected situations with the opportunity to meet new people this presents and share a desire to help others.
Some of our experiences in hotels have left us feeling just part of the crowd and we've have had our best travel experiences staying with family, friends and house-sitting, living as part of the local community which affords a greater connection to the local culture, history and lifestyle.
We enjoy the company of cats, dogs and other domestic pets and will give your pets all the company and affection that you would hope them to receive while you’re away.
We have both been pet owners separately and as a couple and currently our cats are in the care of Max (Lee's son) back in the UK.
We enjoy spending time outdoors and both of us have a keen interest in reading, theatre and the arts. Neither of us smoke and enjoy only an occasional social drink.
