We are a fit and healthy retired couple in our early 80s living in Lakeside Lifestyle Village in Goolwa North SA..We have references from past sitting..
Prior to retiring we owned a farm and then a business. I have a police clearances for caring and volunteer-work. I like to keep a neat,tidy house and love craft.Col is a handyman and an ex- road grader Both of us enjoy the outdoors and gardening.
Although we choose not to own a pet while travelling we love minding pets for others. Cats and small dog are our preference.
We are both non smokers.

From the moment Bet and Col pulled up outside my home I felt like family was arriving. As I was not travelling until the following morning, we had the evening to go through the fur-child's routine and show them how the air con worked and anything else they would need over the next couple of weeks. We shared a meal and I was fortunate to hear about their amazing travels over the years. I left on the Wednesday morning without even the slightest hesitation knowing all would be well. While I was away, Bet provided me with updates and photos of my girl who decided very quickly that Bet was her 2nd mother. At the end of my holiday, unfortunately, there were 2 cancelled flights and a very delayed flight which was very stressful for me, but not a problem for this lovely couple. They happily shuffled around their next adventure to ensure Zoe Bella had company until I finally arrived home 3 days late. The lawns looked beautiful, and my house which I pride on always being clean and tidy .... was immaculate! Col had even worked his magic on a few issues around the property that were caused by earth movement, and days after they left I was still finding small things they had fixed for me and did I mention there was a meal for me for that evening? I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely couple to house-sit and watch your pets, they are thoughtful, kind, honest and real animal lovers. Bet and Col, thank you for ensuring my time with family was extra special. You are appreciated.

We couldn’t have been happier with Col & Bet house sitting for us. Our fur babies loved them, I think they’re missing them now they’ve gone! Col & Bet spent 3 weeks looking after our house, pets and pool and did a fantastic job. Everything was beautifully maintained and cared for. We even came home to fresh bread and milk and some lovely homemade pizza breads. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and they’ll be our first call when we travel again.
